Thoughts from the Editor

Well, 2025 has arrived. Full of new challenges, surprises and experiences. It's also a time to remember fun times and events with friends and family.

I always think January is a great time to sit around a fire with folks (perhaps a lovely beverage), share memories of past adventures, and perhaps plan for upcoming ones in this new year.

Our family always starts with scheduling their summer vacations so that they get individual time and shared time at the family camp. We go from there to the communions, graduations, plays and performances of the grandkids along with the birthdays and other celebrations.

Luckily for us, we all seem to be within 4 hours of each other so get-togethers often include more than one family pod.

I am hoping for some day trips to the Philadelphia Flower Show, wine tasting in the Brandywine Valley, a Broadway show in NYC and a visit to Cape May. All this before June of course.

One of the perks of being the editor of the Chatter is that I get all these fabulous suggestions for local eateries and places to visit from you, the readers. Our clubs and committees are always sharing their outings with us giving me ideas to explore.

Recently a friend and I were discussing where to meet for dinner and she asked me about a restaurant that I had heard about from our Red Hat Ladies. I was able to recommend it based on the comments from my Cranberry Creek neighbors. We’re going next week!

I am hoping that more of you will share your good times with us and we can encourage our neighbors to get out and about.

I hope you are also reaching out to engage in our clubs and committees that might share your interests. The Committee/Club page lists the contacts of many of these groups if you are interested. You should also check the calendar for the meeting times of the various clubhouse and other activities that you can just show up for. Please take advantage of our wonderful clubhouse and fellow Creekers.
