Cranberry Creek HOA

Calendar: Jan. 2025

Calendar: Jan. 2025

Happy New Year! Let’s start the new year reflecting on just a few residents who offered and volunteered their service to benefit our community.

  • For many years, Linda Amoroso gave generously of her time maintaining our Community website which, as observed by Linda, was often not “user-friendly.” While dealing with that aspect, Linda devoted her time and effort continually updating it to keep us informed. A newly created Cranberry Creek website went online recently. Linda felt the timing was now right for her to easily pass the baton. We are sorry to see Linda step down as webmaster. We thank you, Linda, for all the years of work you gave!
  • The Community website has always been a source of helpful information. Hopefully, most residents take advantage of that and visit it often. The Board encourages all to view the updated website – cranberrycreekhoa.org. Some residents who visited it have given very positive feedback. Quoting some: “Wow, it looks vibrant”; “it’s very inviting”; and “nicely updated.” The Board thanks resident Jonathan Park for his time, computer skills, expertise, and creative design giving us this enhanced version. When viewing the website, be sure to scroll down the opening page for some “friendly giggles” which impart smiles and chuckles during each visit. Jonathan has, after thoughtful and careful consideration, agreed to take over the maintenance of our Community website. Thank you, Jonathan, for seeing the need and volunteering your time.
  • Living in Cranberry Creek, have you thought how nice and convenient it is to have a library on the premises? Have you been able to take advantage of the Clubhouse Library? Have you noticed how well-organized the books are? Truth be told, the books do not magically fly onto the shelves in order. A sincere “thank you” goes to Lorraine Ciluffo for her many years maintaining our library. Lorraine, along with other residents such as Ocy Jachimski, has selflessly given hours of service in keeping the library neat and orderly. Just like Linda Amoroso, Lorraine felt the time had come to step down from this task after quietly performing this wonderful service for us all. Upon learning of Lorraine’s decision, a request for residents to maintain the library was mentioned on the CC Information Line. It yielded success. Two residents, Danielle Brown and Sandi Theil, have stepped forward to pick up the maintenance of the library. We thank them sincerely! How fortunate we are for the devoted volunteers in our Community.
  • A shout out to Bill Van Der Vort who, along with the Garden Committee, maintained the flowers and plants throughout the common area of our Community during the growing season and beyond. At one time or another, you probably caught sight of Bill about the grounds – planting, weeding, watering, etc., – in all types of weather. Bill’s efforts, and those of the Garden Committee led by Lorrie Meier, are greatly appreciated!
  • Even though it can go without saying, we want to state here that the work of all our Committees, and their members, is appreciated beyond words. Our Community would not be what it is without the hard work carried out and given freely – by so many.
